[Chinese and Philippine law enforcement agencies cooperate to repatriate more than 160 Chinese citizens engaged in offshore gambling in the Philippines] Securities Times online News, on May 14, the law enforcement departments of China and the Philippines once again cooperated to repatriate more than 160 Chinese citizens engaged in offshore gambling in the Philippines. This is another landmark and major achievement in international law enforcement cooperation between China and the Philippines, and fully demonstrates the firm determination of the two countries to jointly crack down on fraud, kidnapping and other criminal activities hidden in the offshore gambling industry. Chinese law forbids any form of gambling, including online gambling, overseas gambling by Chinese citizens, opening casinos abroad and attracting Chinese citizens to gamble.
